Whether you are young or old, everyone values being able to move with the rhythm of a beat. In every nightclub, ballroom or family reunion, there are some people who can dance and other who can’t. Well, no matter which side of the fence you fall upon, the Buffalo Dance Festival is returning to our area on Saturday July 31st. On the University of Buffalo’s North Campus, inside the Center for the Arts, is where it all goes down this weekend.
There will be three different, highly acclaimed dance companies. LehrerDance, Configuration Dance Theatre and The Bill Evans Dance Company will be featured. The dance companies will be on hand to provide master dance classes during the afternoon. And afterwards, they will provide a dynamic show for the general public.
If you are interested in attending the dance classes, be sure to sign up ahead of time. And those who would like to be in the audience Saturday night, tickets are $22 for general public and $17 for students.
There seems to be something exciting happening every week here in Buffalo, so be sure to check the city calendar for updates!
